This is a VE9-16X. I have one just like it. If I was closer (Seattle) I would jump on this. Parts are available but fairly expensive but he cabinet features beautiful wood inlay. Too bad the original record albums are not present as those special albums are hard to find. Cleaned up this is a beauty. Larry

Frankly, I dont know how I could have gotten it home anyways. I would not
be surprised if that thing weighs 400 lbs or more.

According to the second photo, the one which shows the dial escutcheons, the machine in question is a 9-18. Note the tuning meter to the right of the station selector dial. The Radiola 64 super-hetrodyne chassis used in the 9-18 had a tuning meter (and the automatic volume control which made such a meter practicable). The 9-16 was fitted with the (far simpler) Radiola 18 TRF receiver chassis. The dial escutcheons used in the 9-16 were smaller, more along the lines of those used on the other sets featuring the Radiola 18 chassis.
