Thanks for this info. Luckily (touch wood) my speed adjustment seems to be moving smoothly and reliably. Glad you got yours going!

Very happy for you. Also, very pleased with our forum member Soundgen for his encouragement & help. A phonograph does not need to be pristine in order to be enjoyed. In your case, it appears you and your son have done a great job and have an end result to be proud of!
