I have seen internal horns insulated on the outside in an attempt to boost the bass frequencies, but never before on the inside
.
What were they thinking? If the volume was too loud they could have controlled it with the doors.

What an amazing solution to turning down the volume
If every gramophone "repair" was this easy, it would be great though:)
