I remember now this thread, thanks for posting the link. The discussion there is about the reproducer for cylinders and the (very impressive) horn. I did not see any reference to the disc reproducer, but now it is clearer that Mr Kimble is a very creative and capable person who created modern means to vastly improve the reproduction of gramophones and phonographs.

Carlos, if you read the entire thread, they also talk about the disc reproducer, mainly Greg Bogantz wrote two long posts about this soundbox.

Oh yes, I re-read the full thread now, I forgot to flip the pages, thanks Inigo. What is curious is that Bogantz mentions that the design of the soundbox is completely new, with no parts taken from the orthophonic or other existing industrial products. The Hotogy seems to copy at least the front face of the orthophonic, although everything else looks different. The bad part of this discussion is that we'll probably not have the chance to hear none of these inventions in person.
