Yes, the other side of the record is the Belgium National Anthem!

By the way, speaking about record repeaters I put up a post back in May 2020 inquiring about a Re-Pla-Stop record repeater and got crickets  (viewtopic.php?f=9&t=45083). So I'll take the opportunity to inquire about it again.

Does anyone have a Re-Play-Stop record repeater and can provide any information as to how it works?

Thanks,

AR

This may be the patent for the Re-Pla-Stop repeater...

Here is another repeater that I have and it might be my favorite, since it's kind of quirky... it doesn't damage records even though it looks like it might... :?

Hi Curt,

I was looking over the Google Patents site and saw that patent as well. I was comparing it to the Directions (For Attaching and Operating the Re-Pla-Stop for Victor Talking Machine) that I have for it and it looks almost identical. The only difference I see is that the attachment for the reproducer has the rod going across the front face of the reproducer where as the patent has the rod going across the back of the reproducer. I have the reproducer attachment but not the rest of the apparatus. It looks like a complex device that may have not been very reliable but my 1910 VV-XVI L door had it installed. I can tell by the screw holes in the motor board and reproducer attachment. So my search continues to find one to buy or at least to see it in action...

That other repeater is very cool as well.

Thanks for sharing!
