Yes indeed, I wondered that too. Do we know at what point Exhibition type soundboxes ceased to be produced ?

The Victor 1-1 (Victrolita) and 1-2 (Children's Model) were produced into the late 1920s and were equipped with Exhibition reproducer. At the end even that Exhibition use die-cast parts (pot metal).
