Some of the crap-o-phones on the European market can be a little more deceiving. I've seen a few over the years on eBay.fr that were seemingly made from original Pathé machines (original case, back bracket & horn but tone arm from a portable, speed control in the wrong place and one crank hole too many). It's likely such machines were modified many years ago, before the new Crap-o-Phone invasion.

I am lucky ...It is still in the box I gave it to her in otherwise, it has a five day or five record warrantee. Tom
