It sold for 29,000 GBP or $39,500 USD

No , buyer was a telephone bidder so no additional premium for online bidding. It was bought by a CLPGS member and has gone to a good home, that member has one of the foremost collections in the country , if not the world. I am pleased for him , not only that , I will get to see it when I visit him next time ! Regards Dulcetto

Regardless who bought it and for how much, it is a wonderful, rare grouping to be in anyone's collection. Nice to know it went to a good home. Just too bad it wasn't mine as I tried for it also.... :mrgreen:

Yes, I was before the sale a little concerned that the eventual buyer may sell off the Berliners separately , but knowing who bought it , they will stay with the machine at least for the foreseeable future and a good few years to come.

I think I would endorse that choice. even if it didn't come with any discs.
