Yes, a video would be really great.
Maybe you should patent this before some-one else does. There could be real money in them there gourds ! (Beware cheap imitations !).

Yup, someone will come along and start making cheap imitation ones from plastic, and we all know where from.

My son and I used to grow bushel gourds. They were quite large and might make a decent horn. I’ll need to dig up some of those seeds and start again!

Oh great, it's time to lawyer up!

I'd like one even larger than the one in my photo. Maybe they grow larger in Tennessee. Go for it.

... and it was when Jerry Blais understood the enormous advantages of the flat disc against the cylinder; although sonically inferior, the flat disc laterally recorded was more comfortable for practical use and mass production than the cylinder. So he launched the
Gourdaphone, for playing flat discs, with an enormous gourd as external horn, the rest being equal to a Victor machine.
For several years the Gourdaphone was the king of every home's entertainment, and the production of flat discs and machines rocketed. His mellow tones blended perfectly with the evening fire at home, with a glass of whisky or a chocolate mug, relaxing after daily work.
Then, suddenly, the Wives of America started to hate the image of the tremendous gourd horn, and they pressed husbands, and sales began to decline steadily.... until one day, when Jerry came out with his last perfection: the
Gourdonola, an incredible machine, shaped like any luxury cabinet, hiding in its guts a talking machine with an internal Gourd....
