I think just restoring the name plate would make a huge difference. Maybe then, some touch ups on the striping and possibly new corner decals. But, I would not totally refinish the whole upper works. Right now, maybe 50% of the original striping and 25% of the original finish is missing. With refinishing, 100% of each will be gone.

Wow. If I were you, I would move this machine along to someone who will appreciate it as is and go buy a restored one. In most instances an unrestored original will look better than a restored machine ever will, and this machine looks just about perfect for a collector looking for a nice original.Zenger wrote: Thu Aug 18, 2022 6:46 pm Greetings, everyone.
