Looks like a worthy project. Are those casters under the machine? They will have to go. Any photos of the record cabinet? Let me know if you'd like photos of the grill. Jerry Blais

yes they are casters thats good that they do not belong because one is missing anyways so i will remove them.

I also have around 100 disc also and the cabinets that they were in were just cabinets from cameo records corp they are old but not made by edison. they have tags on them that say M.D Harshman - Wiggins, Colorado. make offers on everything if interested ,Thanks guys

The initial post said the machine was missing nothing and it was in good condition. All of the posts that followed were based on that being true. After seeing the photos, it's obvious that the grill is missing and the grill cover with manual is missing. Those parts would be very difficult to locate. As for condition, the paint is only fair and I see quite a bit of rust. In the future I will be more reluctant to give an opinion on value until I see photos. The machine is still a worthy project but it's almost a parts machine. Jerry

OK I apologize in advance because I can't think of the real names for either of these peices but it looks like the machine is missing two more things.

1. It's missing the wood trim / frame surrounding the turntable / motor plate.

2. The screw sticking out from the underside of the lid should have some sort of lug/nut/fastener... that is so you can remove the turntable and attach it to the underside of the lid to secure it for transportation.

I have little experience with these, but it looks on the inside as if this was a model in gray paint (Navy) which was given a rapid repaint in Army green?

I agree Jerry- this is pretty rough, though still very interesting. Lots of little hard to replace pieces missing. The Cameo record shipping crate is a nice piece of trivia, though not a valuable one.
