Wow, if I lived in your area I'd grab that in an instant! For the machine & the folders.....think they may want to ship me just the filled folders? :)

Any chance of getting the serial number from this machine and/or a patent-date for the folders ?

While the hardware, binding, and letters on the spine appear to be similar to my folder-boxes, these look to be later "envelope-folders"....

$300-$500 still sounds reasonable...

If I remember right.....it #38599C. No, they are wanting to sell as a set. I can understand that but, not here. I told them to run it in a local auction before they move.I don't remember seeing pat info on the binder covers either.Don't get me wrong guy's, it's a nice machine. However, I have a mint 17 and I realy only wanted one Victrola as a daily player. Now if it were a Berliner...... 8-)

Just an up-date on that 16 here. The folks have decided to donate it to a local museum. I think that is a nice thing but,not sure if they will even take it.
