Just for perspective, this is what 10,000 needles looks like, give or take a couple hundred I've used already:

I would be in for 1,000 extra soft needles and 1,000 medium tone needles at $ 22.00 (US) per 1,000 needles.

OK so that puts us at 13,000 and I really want to get to 30,000 because I think that will get us to about 22 per thousand -that is unless exchange rate changes. I wonder if we should change the heading to- group purchase for needles to get others to read the post-what does the group think?

I know, but I'm trying to help the cause....maybe 40,000 would get us even better prices.

So how are we going to do this? I mean logistically.

Someone will have to be in charge of placing the order and accepting payments, and shipping them out.

Then we would place the official orders with the designated person(s), we need a deadline date...lets say January 1, 2012 or something.

A friend asked me to pick up some needles for him, so I can take a total of 6000, rather than the 400 that I originally mentioned.

3000 Medium tone, 2000 full tone, and 1000 soft tone.

I will ask around and see whether I can drum up a larger order. I presume that we will be able to send a PayPal payment to some one person, who will actually act as the factor in this case.

Well it looks like 31,000 at this point-why don't I email Mike and ask him what the 30,000 and 40,000 price marks are-we may at any case hit a point of diminishing returns.
