I passed on a very nice chippendale edison yesterday, it even had the adaptor with it. I let it go at 140.00 which was a pretty nice price, but I didn't need it or want to try and haul it even with my truck.. Moving phonographs reminds me of time I hauled a Columbia 810 home on the roof of my 67 Volvo. I ended up with a few creases in the metal from that experiment. Nothing heavier than that monster than I have hauled.

Hey John, Wasn't that the year you drove your trailer OVER the landscaping timbers since you could not turn your trailer around once you got into the parking lot?

Yes I was. The person that attended the show with me bought a nice walnut Silvertone from you that surprisingly was not damaged in the trip over the crosstie. When your trailer went over it we could hear alot of crashing and banging from inside hoping that whatever was in there did not suffer too bad. If I recall, some things did get a little banged up. I bet you haven't done that again. Haha!

I remember the gentleman who bought the walnut Silvertone. Actually, nothing was damaged inside the trailer. I had about 10000 78's in there and didn't lose one! Driving over that cross-tie seemed like a good idea at the time lol!
