Thanks for the helpful suggestions. I'll first look locally for light weight measurement scales (ie. Staples?) as I like to see and hold what I buy before I buy if I can. If I can't find one locally I'll look for it on the net as suggested.

I use an old Kodak balance scale; originally sold to home photo developers to measure out their chemicals. I've seen them at yard sales (that's where I found mine) for $5-$10.

Harbor Freight has digital scales, if you have an HF convenient to you...


Also better Kitchen / Food Service suppliers probably have accurate digital scales...
