Went back again today. Nothing left of the house, and the ground is littered with shards of every kind of record. The new owners will be pulling up record pieces every time they try to put a plant in the ground.

I can't speak for the LPs that were there, and indeed there were many, but as for the 78s, if there was anything that seemed even remotely interesting, I made sure it followed me home.
I think it's safe to say that what was left in the 78 category was mostly of little value, even if in perfectly good playing condition.
