I know this is an old thread.... but I wasn’t happy with the end result of my restoration on the home. And after working on my herzog cabinet, I wanted to have a phonograph that would be worthy of going on top of it when it’s done.

I stripped all the shellac off the cabinet (and decal), grain filled the wood, lightly stained it again, and re (re?) finished it! I am
Much more please with how it looks now! I’ll put a new decal on when I have a break from school.

I agree. I just need to order the brass mandrel bearing and I can finally listen to it!
