Thank you guys, I am very happy with it! From what I've seen the motor noise is very common, but the horn almost completely blocks the noise when playing a record, so I don't really mind.

Im having a little bit of trouble with the weight distribution, the horn makes the weight of the repeoducer too light and it sometimes skips, anyone have advice on how to fix that?

Not sure on that one but is the horn support straight up & down, or tilted? Any cant on that horn might make it skip.

By the way, the machine looks amazing & you did a job to be proud of. Again.

I have put a small split weight used on fishing line in the elbow, right in the bend to weight the needle some. Flatten a weight with a hammer so it doesn't roll around
