This problem is not happening with me. But, for Windows users, would an entry in the hosts file redirecting www.webring.org to 127.0.0.1 solve the problem?
I had this redirecting problem several times, last time yesterday. It does not only happen with Firefox (3.6.x or 4.0b8) but also Opera, can't speak for other browsers.
But I don't think that a redirect to localhost will solve it because then I am likely to get an error message unless I have my own http server running (which I don't).
