Obviously my then indignation was not a good guide when I started this thread and I apologize for this. I would put it differently today but I keep my postings unchanged not to distort the subsequent discussion.

I think the real authority in this matter is the RIAA and Jonathan Lamy has chatted with me personally, they usually go after pirates you know; he left the conversation..... feeling his organization was the real Pirate!!! I am quoted in most college term papers on music piracy, look it up. However I am closing the book on this chapter, no need to reply, enough said. All I ever intended was as a curios 7 year old, I wanted to see how things work, I like science projects. Edison and history and all was just a boyhood curiosity, started with a letter to a dead inventor..... 1% inspiration 99% perspiration! I owe all this to a response from Leah Burt. Whom I think is related to Fred C Burt, Edison sound engineer.

The only person here I see acting like a child is you. You admitted in the post quoted above that you posted in this thread to see if there was a reaction, which is the definition of antagonization. Please take a moment to really think about why you might not get treated with respect sometimes. It might be how you often make yourself out to be a victim of some unknown atrocity or perhaps it's because you "threaten" us with things such as not selling blanks to us as if you're punishing a child. Regardless of the quality of your work and accomplishments, your interactions here are often quite arrogant.

I've said this before, but you have to remember that the research you post has a narrow audience, there are but a few interested in the chemistry and procedure behind making wax blanks. A topic about a Victor Talking Machine having more discussion than a report on the lead content of dictaphone blanks is neither surprising nor demeaning to you. You seem to think we are all out to get you for some reason, but in reality you are the one drawing attention to and creating these situations for the most part. I hate to involve myself in this any further, but enough is enough.

Then why did you choose to involve yourself further with this antagonizing comment??? You may not be interested in wax blanks or lead in Dictaphone blanks, but who made you the topic censor? First of all, I never stated I wasn't interested. Second of all, if you want to get technical, my delete button makes me the topic censor, not that I was saying Shawn's posts should be censored. Quite the contrary, I do find some of it interesting though I can't say I have much to comment about on the subject. My intention was to point out that such threads will not likely have an overwhelming number of conversation participants in comparison to a phonograph related thread. You clearly missed the point.

It's my job to try and get everyone to get along with each other and correct inappropriate behavior...such as digging up 3 year old arguments to see if anyone will bite again. I'm glad you were able to figure out how to forward your comment to other people on the board, though what strange behavior that doesn't really prove anything at all.
