Twas one afternoon I came home with new records... nor very convincing. When I tried 'Siegfried forges the sword' and 'Siegfried thinks about his mother' I almost died. Even the copies I bought were late forties HMV red label pressings, not the original black label 1929 editions... which at least were better looking and more attractive. Although other times I bought those black label Wagner opera records... Frida Leider, Friedrich Schorr and the like... I don't keep any of them. :roll:
