The turntable isn't original neither. You could find the proper turntable, as Pathé reutilized the same part on on a number of machines, but that long arm indeed looks irreversibly butchered, and a replacement is more difficult to find, it could take years to get one.Steve wrote: Sun Jun 08, 2025 11:08 am
Thank you. The winder is non original and the tonearm appears to have been altered (irreversibly?) so it's definitely a compromise machine.

I never saw such model neither! I have a similar model that combines the diffusor with a tonearm, but it is a table top.drh wrote: Sun Jun 08, 2025 2:26 pm
Here's another case in point. I've never seen one quite like this before--a floor model that combines a Diffusor for vertical cut with a conventional diaphragm-type reproducer and internal horn for laterals.

I have a floor standing cabinet model that combines the diffuser, a tone-arm / internal horn and the external horn ala "Jour Et Nuit". Sadly it is in pieces at the moment awaiting re-assembly. My cabinet is nowhere near as high quality as the Ebay example and the internal horn grille is on the outside, and not concealed behind the 2 doors to the record cupboard underneath.CarlosV wrote: Sun Jun 08, 2025 5:12 pmI never saw such model neither! Thanks for adding about the turntable, I had briefly missed that. Yes, I think the machine, especially at the asking price, is a bit of a dead duck......for me anyway.CarlosV wrote: Sun Jun 08, 2025 5:05 pmThe turntable isn't original neither.
