I have "Gene Tunney's Health Exercises"on the Victor label.Gene speaks with a cultured accent.He was born in the Greenwich section of New York.Sections of NYC have different accents.Has anyone heard a recording of Tunney's voice?edisonplayer

Yes, I believe that it was. Re-reading my posting, perhaps my judgment of the speaker's voice was harsh, but I remember that several bozos on the one 78rpm group were bordering upon ecstasy concerning the purity of the voice, etc, etc, when it all sounded like pompous and artificial drivel to me.
