George: I won't be going to Wayne but I definitely want a spiral bound set as soon as they become available by mail order. I remember Charlie's announcements at MAPS meetings when he was beginning this project. He distributed a list of labels he needed for the book and we all searched our DD collections for them.

We have plenty of spiral-bound copies so I'm sure no one will be disappointed. There are a number of perfect bound sets as well.

Yes - we sold out the books we brought to the show, but don't worry: there are many more sets remaining. As soon as they are available by mail, I will make an announcement here.

A funny thing happened at the boarder last night. We were asked the normally question: how long, what for , how much money we spent?? then he ask if we had purchased any European machines We said yes but I was surprised because one of us did. It was like he could see inside the blankets we had wrapped everything in.

Speaking of books and members... It should be remembered that membership in the Antique Phonograph Society is what makes opportunities like this possible. Collectors were able to purchase the 4-volume set of books at ONE-FIFTH of its original price!

The Antique Phonograph Society is staffed by volunteers. No one makes a dime on all this effort. The goal is to promote our hobby and to help collectors. We do this in a number of ways, and this book set is just one of them. There will be more opportunities in the future. Will you help the hobby, the APS, yourself, and fellow collectors by becoming a member?
