Re: HMV 102, the complete color range, the treasure trove !

I spent two days, driving a total of 1200 kms fetching my new 102s. I removed the seats at the back of my car, and transported 3 phonographs, 3 horn gramophones, 13 portables, around 30 sound boxes,) including 5 Exhibition and one Gramola sound box). Everything apart from the 102 series, was transported for other buyers living down south, more or less in my area. I have never had so many expensive gramophones in my car, and it will never happen again, for sure.
In addition I purchased some boxes of spares and parts for hmv (springs, carrying handles, and governor parts etc), that I puchased along with the 102 series.
I also could not resist the blue HMV 99, and the brown 101, that also ended in my over crowded small house
I now have an extra blue 99 bought last year, that I will put up for sale, since I don't need two, the one to sell is more scruffy than this one shown here, and has no record album, but the tone arm socket and no 16 soundbox is intact. I am considering putting it up in the sale section on the forum, for international buyers. One can by the way see this machine on this past thread. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=53794
