I know I've never seen this one before. What is inside??? It does look similar to
a modified 9-54 that was at one time on ebay in up state New York. Had very similar
carvings on it. But the complete finished 9-54 was still underneath and was definitely
not done by the factory.

These carvings are much tamer than what was on that machine....

It's the $6000 Edison is it not? Acc. to an old advert I have, "7 feet long and 7 feet 1 inch high. Reproduced from a celebrated cabinet of the reign of Louis XII, now the property of the French Government."
