I lied when I said my name was Mogandi (I'd been having a few.)
Just gonna stick with Wolfe. If you don't like that you can call me Fang.

Pity, I had you pegged as the North American distributor of Indian crapophones.

Hi My name is Larry and I sign all of my post. My wife calls me Lar and my main display room in the basement is a phonograph lair. So I go by Phonolair on this forum and the others before they dried up.
Best Regards, Larry

Nat - short for Nathaniel; an old family name, as it turns out: I've got a school book with "Nathaniel Brown, his book" dated 1827. It seems he stole it from his brother Edmond, who has written over it, "It is NOT his book! - Edmond Brown" Oddly, I also have a brother named Edmond! They came over with their father John from Wales, and settled in Ohio in about 1818. I also have John's watch, dated 1798, which still runs (sort of: it runs, then limps, then stops to rest for a while... but it does tick!)

We'll my name is Glenn and I started down this path of phonographs after seeing & hearing my first Edison Standard playing a Sousa March. That was back in 1969. I will turn 55 this year and I am grateful for this forum. When I was a teenage collector all we had was trial & error when it came to information.

"Wagnerian" reflects my other obsession apart from all things Edison and Pathé. Sometimes the two come together such as Jacques Urlus singing "Siegmund Heiss'Ich" with Marie Rappold on Edison DD 82277 played on an Edison 3c Long-Playing Console with a larryh diaphragm - pure listening heaven.
All the best
