Thank you.....that's just what I wanted. Probably a bit too far to travel alone but I will be thinking of you all.

We will be traveling about 1200 miles each way from Texas. We look forward to meeting other collectors. It is nice to see the photos and messages of the others who will be there. Our post in the Yankee Trader section is still there if anyone is interested.

We will also be going about 1100 miles each way, from Dallas, we are EXCITED!
WE SET UP BETWEEN GREGG CLINE AND JERRY BLAIS.
My wife, Lerria, (phonolady), is good enough to
support my hobby and has helped me at the booth for about the last 15 years at Union.
We have collected phonographs for over 40 years and look forward to Union every year.
If we have not met any members please stop by, we will have many goodies!
Looking forward to seeing everyone, like Ken said, it is like a family reunion.

424 miles from N E Ohio, 6 hours, 42 minutes, each way for me. Looks like 1 to 2 hours (max) to cover the swap meet. I probably could be there and back in one day, so maybe it is possible.

Two hours max? I guess I'm slow. You'll do yourself a disservice if you don't go to Jasper's Saturday evening.
I always drive about 2500 miles each way. If I didn't make any side trips it would be closer to 2200 miles but that wouldn't be much fun. I hope to stop at about five or six collectors along the way and visit dozens of antique shops. Jerry Blais

I will be riding with Jerry Blais and really look forward to the trip (all 2200 miles of it). Meeting people and seeing new places and collections is real treat. And there is nothing like attending the Union show and going to Jaspers. It is one of the highlights of every year for me.
There is no adequate way to to describe the experience of the Union show. I sure didn't realize what it was until I attended the first time. I've gone every year but one since my first time in 2000. If you are on the fence try to attend and be sure to get there Friday! It's the best day of the weekend.

I will be coming from Prague, CZ ~5,370 miles to Fargo, ND then another ~50 miles to Ada, MN to pick up some things I sold and a package full of reproducers recently rebuilt by SteveM, then will meet up with Phonocookie and a couple other misfits traveling another 853 miles to Union. There will be a stop off at Phono-Phan's near Plover WI to pick up another machine, then most likely directly to the Donnely's bar.
I'll also take possession of some new toys there purchased from/delivered with the help of TinFoil, Shawn and HisMaster'sVoice.
This is gonna be fun!

We've chatted before and I'll definitely stop by to say hello!

Questions: Is there an informal parking lot "swap meet" that goes on prior to the Union Show?
What restaurants are nearby the show location?
Thanks in advance for any information.
(When attending the show in California in 2011, I noticed some early bargaining going on.)
