What will happen is you will get your stuff as soon as he gets your letter. Perhaps he's being a bit cautious these days. Ron has always just sent me my orders on the honor system as I believe he does with everyone he knows.
Let us know when you get your stuff!

Either someone did him wrong, or he just doesn’t know me yet.

Or he’s just really busy trying to get everybody’s order in after the holidays. Either way I can’t wait to get my items!

I’m sending him a hand-written letter with a big “Thank You!” At the bottom.

While I’m waiting for my parts from Ron and Jake, I decided to get the “dirty work” done. And get that bearing out! It was harder than I thought it was going to be. But after a few hours of tapping and a dousing of PB Blaster later, (and with some help from my dad) I got the Mandrel and later the bearing out without damaging the cast iron! *phew!* Next time I’m going to try that acid...

Nice! Unfortunately, my “restorations” Don’t go beyond cleaning and getting it to play as best as I can with what I have. Stuff like decals and woodworking is beyond me. If it wasn’t, my Edison Standard B would have a nicer looking case!

UPDATE 1/7/19 : I got the mandrel bearing and gear cover from Jake, put everything back together and for the first time since who knows when, she’s a spinner! How long did it take before the original bearing caused the machine become inoperable?
Anyway, here's the photo And YouTube video of it working!

Now I need that Model H adapter and that 45 degree horn connector from Ron Sitko and it should be playing music. How well? Let’s just hope Murphy’s Law doesn’t get in the way.
I’m not going to use my model N reproducer until it’s rebuilt.

A leather belt would be a great addition. Good luck!

Great job, AA! I am amazed that you have "He'd Have to Get Under . . . " on BA! It took me forever to find that record.
I second what others have said about a leather belt, but you've done a fine job thus far.
Best,
