Late to the subject...
After restoring many hill and dale acoustic records, the general response for music is about 150 Hz to at least 5,000 Hz for the Edison Diamond Discs when you use a modern stylus and cartridge. You can read about an interesting series of experiments in my Restoration Handbook (Chapter 19) where I go in depth into the frequency spectrum of acoustic records.
