Record Label Transparencies

I agree with Valecnik on the scanner, but I am a poor photographer.

With a decent scanner, you get a consistent head-on image of the label with little effort, and even if you don’t align the label so that it is oriented perfectly, you can always rotate the scan after you’ve captured it.

I have the feeling that he scanned the Edison Re-Creation label pictured below:

...and we’re only 8 labels away from having 100 in the ‘labels’ category of the stock avatar gallery.

Yes this is a scanned label. I've got some more I can send you to help hit the 100 mark if nobody else does so first. Perhaps tomorrow I can give it a try or if really lucky tonight after kids are in bed.

I've got some a few late 20s Bing records, one with Paul Whiteman that's realy snappy on potatoehead label. I need to figure out the technology for transferring them from my turntable/tube amp combo onto the computer in order to start posting. A bit of a challenge for me. Below you will see me struggling to upload a picture to this forum.
