Yeah, ... I know, and I felt guilty so I went exploring this small town and found a Dollar Store that was selling off all its summer gardening stuff at 50% off. They hadn't put their bamboo garden stakes away for next year but were trying to liquidate them. So I bought a bag and have been making bamboo needles all afternoon.
