Probably headed to the dump if nobody gets it. It's been advertised for a while. My guess is they'd take $100 for it if you really bargained hard.

Seems like this very RCA has been a craigslist a long time now----maybe months? I have seen and heard one in person, they're neat to watch, and there is a Youtube video of one in action. That same Youtube clip drives home how ticklish these changers are to work on. Even still, I debated getting this one just to hang onto as a neat example of a scarce machine. But----the usual roadblocks popped up: lack of space, gotta rent a truck to go get it, no spare cash, it's way beyond my skill set to fix, etc. etc.
I discussed this very RCA with another collector, and we came to the mutual decision that----should you want to play both sides of a stack of discs----the better way to go is by getting a good Capehart instrument. Once restored and adjusted they tend to play for years with little trouble at all. I still tend to play my discs one-by-one, and don't like the thought of a changer unexpectedly going haywire and breaking a prized record.
