Something you would absolutely need if you were wanting to play early 78 records....
Today we have a Califone record payer for sale. This one is really nice. It is model 1455K. It plays wonderfully, even having a new needle installed. It is the higher end model with the stroboscope. This allows you to not only accurately set the speed, but to vary it to play those early Berliners that weren’t recorded at exactly 78 RPM. The record player is steady and true. It has great sound. The case is in really nice condition too. It could even be cleaned up more. All you have to do is plug it in and put it in standby or play mode and the platter spins and you’re ready to play a tune.
Many times you find these all beat up, that sound poorly, or with bad needles. This one is really nice, with great sound, a new needle, and ready to go.
