Great deal on Craigslist in Northern Va. - working victrola and 2,000 - count'em 2,000 records. $1500. This fabulous deal is located in Alexandria, Va.

Could be a VV-XVIII or it could be a junky no-name portable and a bunch of 1940's records (Andrews sisters, Ink Spots and the like). Too soon to tell if it's a "great deal."

Same thing happened to me when I inquired about a good-looking Victrola 7-25 somebody had for sale on CL. I Called the number listed, got an answering machine, expressed interest, left my name and two phone numbers. Never got a return call. Oh well.
