This is running on my local Craigslist for $45. I know someone here said they liked the Silvertones. Clearly the spring needs replaced. Are they hard to come by? I'm thinking this could be nice if it isn't too hard to get a spring.

George Vollema should be able to supply one- BUT - since the spring is out of the barrel I hope someone with some knowledge removed it, not someone fooling around until it flew out.

In any case, this is a very good buy at that price- the parts alone are worth more. Silvertones are nice honest machines. This one looks like mid 20's - no fitting for vertical cut records, and it seems to have a mahogany finish.

Brian, he is good at getting back to you. I emailed him awhile back about some Rishell parts.
