Edison B-250 Crank Substitution for A-250

Post by Garret »

All,

Can an Edison B-250 crank be used on a motor for a mid/late Edison A-250? I need a replacement crank for my Edison A-250, and am wondering if one from a B-250 would work.

Thanks!

I believe the threads are the same - at least my B-250 and A-150 are. The length of the crank inside the cabinet, however, is longer for the A-150 crank - but this may be due to the single mainspring. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the A-250 and B-250 cranks are the same.
