I have never seen anything like this done to a phonograph before.

Sometimes modern art completely baffles me. I guess there truly is something to satisfy anyone's personal proclivities... :rose:

I actually quite like it. It has a nice modern and organic form and looks to be very well made. It's a new interpretation of a horn gramophone. Looking at the quality and the many many hours of work involved the asking price is quite realistic. I wouldn't mind having it, if only as a conversation piece.

If the platter lifted up it would remind me of something I have in my bathrooms....sorry, that may be giving it too much credit.

I actually like it, maybe not enough to spend a fair amount of money to buy it, but I like it. It's creative and a wonderful blend of something very old with modern art. I just posted about a crapophone and was bluntly critical but this is no attempt to deceive anyone. It is what it is, art. Jerry Blais
