Wife just called from an auction and let me know she bought an Edison C250 in great condition with a large box of DD's. I think I have 4 of these beasts now. Guess its time to start selling off machines... :(

Just wait until she surprises you by selling the machines when you leave the house!

I think she is setting me up for something big - whats the old saying -- beware of wives bearing gifts. Just kidding Moxiemama. :D

   Come to think of it you might be right.....lol I bet it is just the excitement of the auction process. I may go to one next weekend that has a vv-120 just to see if I could score it cheap....I told myself no more floor models for a bit....but I hate to see a good machine go to waste :)

Good luck with the auction. For some reason that "I told myself" never seems to work. We need to come up with a chart like the square footage of a typical upright is (X)and then factor in the size of the rooms in the house (Z), the result is how many uprights you can buy before you have no storage space left. Its sad when the auction people do not know your real name and call you those "Victrola" people..

Well good luck at the auction Moxi.

Yahoo the auction co. just dropped off the C250. All it needs is a cleaning, key is with it and interior sticker. Plays great. 38 DD's with a good sprinkling of Military Marches, etc.

This machine was in the auction co.'s showroom for $400 - the wife got it for $210. May have to give her a raise....
