The latest History Channel installment of "The Men Who Built America" was very well done and depcited Edison and Tesla and the battle of AC vs. DC. I suggest you watch it.

There were a few historical prop inaccuracies. In Edison's lab (circa 1878-79) when J.P. Morgan is visiting Edison, you will notice a radio horn on a shelf (a few decades ahead of its time) and the reproduction light bulbs looked nothing like Edison's early design.

However, the cinematography was well done with lots of great information.

Yes, there were some historical inaccuracies. The train was from around World War Two, on top of the other stuff named.

But it is still great. If you missed the series, they are playing it on the History Channel starting at 2 est on Sunday, leading up to the final episode at 8pm

The Edison Westinghouse Tesla Morgan etc story, as presented on this program, is fiction from start to finish. It's a misleading bunch of nonsense.

It appears that because of Hurricane Sandy, the last episode and the previous ones were not shown Sunday, being replaced with American Pickers.

Apparently, the whole series has been rescheduled for Sunday, Nov 11th @ 2-10PM EST on the History Channel.

I think it may have been because of the next episode called "Taking the White House" (or similar), dealing with Carnegie, Rockefeller and J.P. Morgan combining to buy a presidential election. May not have been deemed appropriate 2 days before an election...
Just guessing. If it was because of Sandy I think they would have said so.
