Yeah, you can definitely see where the horn was removed.... wonder if it was done 'semi-professionally' by some local radio technician during the Depression; it would certainly have been cheaper than buying a whole new set...

Replacing Victrola components with new radio tech was fairly common, especially in the 1930's. The empty VV-XI cabinet that I inherited was converted into a radio.

Interesting, but typical of what I always see on Norfolk Craigslist. Only an hour away from where I now live, oh well. :coffee:
