A gutted, stripped vv 8-12 and badly stained, something even I would pass up!

No great loss, there's still 100,000,000 of them left.

27,271, actually.
The 8-12 is a nice Orthophonic machine, with a rather full, rich sound. Rather bass heavy, great for dance band and orchestral records, not ideal vor celebrity vocals, particualrly acoustic vocals. The acbinet of this attractive machine is exceptionally shallow, and is very easy to incorporate into the decorative sheme of a room.

I have an 8-12 and it is my favorite machine for playing records thus far. I do not own a Credenza yet, so that could change. I hate to see this one in this state.

"the original owner suspect gold inside for the center core is contained in a sound trunk without access and is weighted down in this area. Who knows?"
Hidden gold in an Orthophonic horn? Whaaaaa...?
"I restored sculptures at the Hirshhorn Museum within the Smithsonian...The example you see here is a job I did this year. My specialty is wood furniture..."
Too bad this wasn't restored like the sculptures. I suppose the job is OK if you don't know what it originally looked like and intend to use it as the proposed wet bar. *sigh*
