Soooo... haven't been able to find the rubber isolator for the back of my Viva Tonal repro, I decided to make a whole new mount that is more like the ones on Victors. Made with a 1.5" washer, some brass tubing and a copper pipe nipple. Machined the nipple to fit inside the tone arm, bored the washer so the brass tube would fit inside its hole, drilled 3 holes in washer to attach to the repro after removing the isolator. Soldered the tubing into the washer and filled the space between the 2 tubes with clear silicone.

That looks very well done! Few months ago I use a small piece of rubber tubing for cylinder phonograph horns to make myself a lifebelt as once discussed on the German forum.
It works pretty well, except for one thing: Some records, not all, tend to have a certain drag at the very end to cause a kind of subtle flutter. I figured that it had to be the rubber, which might be just a little too elastic. I wonder if you have experienced that the same issues with your soft silicone solution?
