Well I finally bought a Black Swan Record, for $30.00. Which I don't mind. I have reached a point where I can buy records like this, at theses prices. Plays well too!

That was the first one, huh?
Nice item to be gotten for 30 dollars, if it plays good.

Very nice and fortunate! Congratulations!
I've searched a long time for one.
Here is my first and only Black Swan, purchased last June in a large collection from an estate. I'm still very happy about it!
Watch it play on YouTube:

Black Swan was the first record label to be owned and operated by African Americans. That is its significance.

Years ago I went to the farm auction of a black family and bought (literally) a "bushel basket" of old 78's. When I got home I found that many of the records were black artists and among them were two early orange label Black Swan's #2004 (My Mammy and Bright Eyes by Juan Harrison) and #2009 (Macushla and Morning by Harry A. Delmore). There was also a Paramount #12407 (That Black Snake Moan and Stocking Feet Blues by Blind Lemon Jefferson). They were fairly worn condition from years of play but have always been among my favorite records.

Actually, the first black-owned label was the Broome Special 'Brown Seal Record', produced by George Broome, a newspaper publisher, businessman, and activist in Medford, Massachusetts. The Broome label predates Black Swan by several months. It is exceedingly rare. I have one for sale if anyone is interested.
