Hawthorne & Sheble Brown Wax Cylinder

While selling some things for a local collector to help him downsize, I was given this brown wax cylinder. It's about ¼" taller than the Edison cylinder sitting next to it.
Of course we all come across H&S products/accessories fairly often in the hobby whether it's a horn, crane, cylinder cabinet, etc. But I don't recall seeing a H&S cylinder before this one and didn't even know they produced cylinders. Are these that uncommon or have I just overlooked them?
I can't find very much regarding details of their production, a list of titles or artists who recorded for the company. Can anyone help shine light on how long H&S made cylinders or how well they sold compared to Edison and Columbia cylinders during that time? I read that they may have began producing cylinders around 1898 and also that they began the production of flat records sometime around 1904. Does anyone know more about the company's cylinder production details?
