Fraud Alert!!! Bettini Spring Motor on EBay

This listing is bogus. More than one machine is represented in the pics. Two different cases and two different cranks. The mandrels look different too, one brass and the other nickel. that might be the lighting in the picture.

I love the whole "Aww.. shucks" aspect of the seller's description. Yea, this perfectly clean and beautifully shiny object was found in "my great-grandfather's basement". It's also great that they don't know anything about it except that it's a "rare collectible". Well, if you don't know anyting, how do you know that?!?

I agree, I sent him a message wanting to know if I could come by and take a look at it and his reply was this " I don't think I would be interested in that" RED FLAG! What a schmuck! Buyer BEWARE!

If you look at his seller feedback (grand total of 2) one of the positives seems to have been
given by mistake (as the buyer added a follow up) and the second was for the sale of a $2000 diamond
ring that gave no indication of the Carat and was only 14K gold. Either that guy got duped or the
buyer was a friend of the sellers who completed the fake transaction.
