I have been contacted off list now by two
people who are attempting without success to
start accounts here on Talking Machine Forum.

Both of these people have asked for my help,
saying that they have signed up, and are waiting
for "approval"...to no avail.

I hate to use the forum in this way to convey
this message to whomever is in charge here.

Please pardon my doing so, if this is not
the "correct" method.

What should I be telling these people who
come to me asking for my help in starting an
account here?

Why don't you refer them to the helpful forum admins?

Don't do anything yourself, whatever you do, they might be scammers.

I would gladly refer them to admin if I knew
how to contact admin.

So far, all of my attempts to even *find out how*
to contact admin have been unsuccessful.

Anyone know how this can be accomplished?

Sorry, I've been sick the past few days and I was a bit behind on activating accounts (I have to sift through about 300 spam accounts per real account). All accounts have been activated to date, let me know if they still have a problem accessing the board.
