The machine was actually an Edison Concert in a late style case which shared the same wood base as the Triumph but had a higher dome lid to accommodate the Concert mandrel. This unit was FACTORY equipped with a Model D repeater and a 2/4 minute attachment to play standard cylinders on it. It looked like it was missing the Concert mandrel.
I personally have never seen a Concert with a repeater on it. The Concert repeater is actually different than the typical D repeaters found on the Homes, Triumphs and Idealias because the repeater's worm shaft sits much higher off the bed plate and therefore the casting post that the kick off wire attaches to is taller.

That's by far the rarest variation of the Concert. It's just a Triumph lower case but that lid is worth its weight in gold (I suspect). Jerry

I agree that it is probably the rarest version of the Concert.

On the machine in Ebay, the carriage arm is for standard cylinders. Therefore a concert mandrel would not be of much use unless you found a concert carriage arm.

Despite everything else this machine has, it doesn't have a 2/4 minute attachment. There's simply a gear attached to the upper pulley to drive the repeater.
I too have no memory of ever seeing a Concert with a Model D repeater.

Good eye George! Could the mandrel be from a spring motor or Triumph A? I guess they would have to disable the repeater if they had used a 2/4 minute attachment.

That's not a Triumph. That's a very rare later concert phonograph that was converted to a standard mandrel.
Wow! What a machine!
