Columbia start/stop mechanism for sale

I needed one of these for a Standard Model X that I was restoring. I made an extra one and it can be yours for $38.75 plus a few dollars for shipping. The mechanism is made of steel and brass. I nickel plated the parts that stick out of the cabinet just as the originals. The plating was done to look aged and should blend well with an unrestored but nice looking cabinet. Please look at the picture and decide if it is something you would like.
Thanks,
Dave D

Thank you very much for your kind comments. I am a beginner when it comes to this stuff, but I have some very talented friends from whom I have learned a lot.
I can make these in any length now. While I was at the lathe and had everything set up, I made a few extra of all the parts and pieces. The only difference is the length of the tube and the length of the rod. I just put one together for the Columbia AH.

Hi Dave,
I'd be interested in the one for an AH or BI. Let me know when they are available.

Dave,
Excellent workmanship. Last year I would have jumped at your offer.
