Having not lived through that glorious early 1900's era, I find myself aimlessly searching youtube for titles that are worth searching to buy.It would be interesting to know what other members here hold dearest within their collection.

Surprised nobody on here has responded to this yet. Do we not like the music you actually play on these machines anymore...?
Since you (apparently) have a VV-XI, then I'll post some of my favorite discs which are easily had on eBay that should sound okay on it:
"I'll Build a Stairway to Paradise" - Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra
"Hot Lips" - Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra
"Chicago" - Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra
"San" - Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra
"Snakes Hips" - The Original Memphis Five
"Fireworks" - The Original Memphis Five
"Bass Ale Blues" - The Original Memphis Five
"There's A Rainbow 'Round My Shoulder" - Al Jolson
"I Gave Her That" - Al Jolson
"Sweet Georgia Brown" - Ben Bernie and His Hotel Roosevelt Orchestra
"Everything Is Hotsy Totsy Now" - The Coon-Sanders Nighthawks
"Swingin' Down The Lane" - Isham Jones and His Orchestra
"Dardanella" - Selvin's Novelty Orchestra
"Alcoholic Blues" - Billy Murray (The Victor version, not the Columbia version)
...and you gotta have a copy of this one:
"Dixieland Jass Band One-Step" - The Original Dixieland 'Jass' Band
Also anything by Sousa's band... but I was a band nerd, so take that into consideration.

I also enjoy most of Sergei Rachmaninoff's acoustic Victor records.

Probably because there was a very similar thread recently!
I have multiple favourites across widely varying styles of music, and they change with the wind... Here's a current one:

I went back five pages in this section, and still couldn't find it. Could you post a link to it, please? I'd like some suggestions for new music myself.

I like anything jazzy by the Original Memphis Five, Original Dixieland Jass Band, and practically anything by the multitude of Harry Reser groups (Six Jumping Jacks, Cliquot Club Eskimos, etc.).

I had initially logged back in to post that very statement. They were mostly members of the Whiteman Orchestra, if I remember correctly. I know they were led by Whiteman's clarinet player, Ross Gorman.
